I’m glad you’re here.
I am a licensed psychologist and earned my Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. I approach my work with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the complexity of human experience. My training and experience include therapy, assessment, and consultation in community agencies, hospitals, and primary care clinics with children, adolescents, and their families, and adults. I completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Morrison Child and Family Services in Gresham, Oregon. My postdoctoral training at Austin Child Guidance Center included extensive assessment training and therapy work. I am trained in evidence-based frameworks including Therapeutic Assessment, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, other mindfulness-based therapies, and other attachment-based therapies.
I am passionate about helping individuals and families develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their life experiences, and the ways their brains work, so that they can cultivate greater self-compassion, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives. I believe that greater understanding creates opportunities for people to treat themselves—and others—with the respect, compassion, and care they deserve.
